CO-OP

Skills learned at the Job

With my time CO-OPing for SPA, A TRG Company, I spent time working with their Structural Design department to create and ideate designs for corrugated POP displays. The majority of my work was conducted in ArtiosCAD, CAPE, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Additional analog skills that I picked up were the use and maintenance of a Kongsberg cutting table.

Projects Worked On

While at SPA, I got to design a multitude of different displays featuring a wide range of well known brands. With some time, some of the displays that I got to work on might even be brought into production and sent out to stores all around the United States.

Summer 2025

Spring 2026

Skills learned at the Job

During this Spring CO-OP, I got to advance my skills as a structural designer even further than I had before. At TRG, formally known as SPA, I worked closely with the design team to produce new and inventive POP displays as well as graphic designs for a multitude of well known company name brands such as Mars, Comb, Perfetti Van Melle, and Ferrero. Some skills that I continued to perfect while at this company include my cad skills with the ArtiosCAD software by Esko, Cape Pack, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

Projects Worked On

With this CO-OP, my design techniques really started to sprout. I got to work with even more highclass brands while also getting the chance to ideate and show off my skills. Over the course of my time working for TRG, a few of my designs have now gone into full production and will be sent out to stores all around the US.

Fall 2024

Skills learned at the job

While at Smurfit Westrock, I learned new skills such as how to use ArtiosCAD, Kongsberg cutting tables, and corrugated design theory.

Personal project

Most of my actual work isn't allowed to be shared publicly about what I had worked on at Smurfit Westrock. Instead, I began to work on a personal project that would both help to teach me more about how to use the ArtiosCAD software, as well as to better understand the capabilities and restrictions of corrugated paper.
